Updating your ad content increases your ranking on job boards, so more job seekers are likely to see and apply to your ads.
WizeHire regularly monitors your job ads. When we notice an ad is not ranking as highly on job boards or has recently received fewer applies, you'll see a red 'Refresh' next to the job:
If you used a WizeHire optimized job template, here's how you can refresh your ad in under two minutes:
You can either click on the red 'Refresh' or Click on 'Manage' and then 'Refresh Job':
Our team does the heavy lifting for you. We'll automatically curate relevant content to reach the most qualified candidates based on the position you’re hiring for. Review the refreshed job ad content on the right side of the page and click 'SAVE AND PUBLISH'. That's it!
If you’d like to make customized changes, click into the job description field and make edits, or edit the responsibilities and qualifications sections using the green edit links:
Don't forget to click the 'SAVE AND PUBLISH' button once you've finished updating your content.
If you did not use a WizeHire optimized job template, follow these instructions:
Click 'Manage' and then 'Refresh job'. The goal is to edit your job ad and achieve "100% freshness". This will give it a brand new date on job boards.
Here are a few updates you can make:
- Update the job title
- Edit the job description
- Adjust the compensation wording
- Make some modifications to the responsibilities section
- Add a few words to the qualifications section
Once your ad is fully refreshed, the Freshness level will show as 100%:

You may think it's easier to close and reopen your same ad a short time later. However, we do not recommend this. This practice can actually get your ads taken down from job boards.
