Overview

You can create custom interview guides in Wizehire to keep your interviews consistent and aligned across your team.

If your company manages multiple accounts, main accounts can now make guides inheritable, allowing additional accounts to access and use them.

💡 Tip: Create guides specific to each role to help interviewers focus on what matters most.

Create a custom interview guide

  • Go to Settings › Interview Guides.

  • Select New Guide.

  • Add a title for your guide.

  • Write or paste your interview questions.

  • Organize questions into sections, such as Skills, Experience, or Culture Fit.

  • Click Save.

💡 You can edit or duplicate an existing guide anytime to make updates or create role-specific versions.

Make a guide inheritable by your Additional Accounts

If your company has additional accounts, you’ll see an option to make a guide inheritable.

  • Open the guide you want to share.

  • Check the box to allow Additional Companies to view and duplicate your guide.

  • Save your changes.

How inheritable guides work

  • When a guide is marked inheritable, it becomes visible to all additional accounts.

  • Additional accounts can use the guide directly in candidate profiles or copy it to their own account to make edits.

  • Once copied, that version becomes independent. Updates made to the main account’s guide will not overwrite any copied versions.

  • If the main account turns inheritability off, the guide is removed from all additional accounts’ shared view.

💡 Tip: Use inheritable guides to keep company-wide consistency while allowing flexibility for each team or location.

Common Questions

Can every account create inheritable guides?
No. The inheritable toggle only appears for main accounts with associated additional accounts.

Do updates to a main account’s guide change additional account copies?
No. Once an additional account copies a guide, it becomes its own version and won’t be updated automatically.

Can additional accounts edit an inherited guide?
They can use the inherited version or copy it to make their own edits.

Can inheritability be removed?
Yes. Turning off inheritability removes the guide from the shared view for additional accounts.
