Overview

Closing your job postings doesn’t automatically stop your Wizehire subscription. Billing is tied to your account subscription, not the status of your jobs.

💡 Tip: If you don’t need to hire right now, you can pause your subscription from your account settings.

Why you were billed

  • Subscriptions are active until canceled
Your billing continues until you pause or cancel, even if no jobs are currently open.

  • Closed jobs still store data
You keep access to past applicants, interview notes, and reports as long as your subscription is active.

  • Billing cycle timing
If your billing date passes while your subscription is active, you’ll be charged for the next cycle regardless of job status.

  • Precautions are in place

When you close your final open job, a pop up asks if you would like to keep your account, or pause:

How to manage your billing

  1. Go to Settings in your Wizehire account.

  2. Select the Billing tab.

  3. Choose to Pause or Cancel your subscription.

Common Questions

If I pause, do I lose my data?
No. Your past jobs, applicants, and notes are saved and will be available when you reactivate.

Can I pause for just one month?
Yes. Pausing gives you flexibility to take a break and come back when you’re ready to hire again. Keep in mind, Quickstart accounts are limited to 2 reactivations in a 12-month period.

Do I get a refund if I close jobs mid-cycle?
No. Billing runs through your cycle date. You can cancel before your next renewal to avoid future charges.
