Overview
The Talent Pool lets you save, organize, and revisit candidates across multiple jobs.
This helps you build a pipeline of strong candidates so you can move faster when new roles open.
Why use the Talent Pool

Access the Talent Pool
Go to the Candidates tab from your main dashboard
View All or Saved candidates
Save a candidate
You can save candidates from multiple places:
From a candidate profile
Open the candidate’s profile
Click Save
Select a reason (ex: Strong Resume)
From a job dashboard
Hover over a candidate card
Select the candidate
Click Save
Choose a reason
From the Talent Pool tab
Go to the Talent Pool tab on your main dashboard
Hover over a candidate
Click Save candidate
View saved candidates
In the Talent Pool, you’ll see:
candidate name
most recent job applied to
application date
current hiring stage
Click a candidate’s name to expand their profile.
View full candidate details
From the expanded view, you can access:
contact information (email, phone, location)
where and when the candidate was saved
the reason they were saved
comments added at the time of saving
candidate tags
Invite to Apply option
option to Unsave the candidate
Use candidate tags
Click the + next to Tags
search existing tags or create new ones
apply multiple tags to organize candidates
💡 Helpful note: You can create and apply unlimited tags.
Invite candidates to apply
Navigate to the Talent Pool tab from your main dashboard
Click a candidate name to expand their profile
Click Invite to Apply
Select an open job
Customize your message (optional)
Send the invite
The candidate will receive an email with a link to apply.
Manage your Talent Pool
saved candidates are company-wide, not job-specific
revisit candidates anytime for new roles
keep track of why candidates were saved and their status
💡 Helpful note: Future updates may include resumes, cover letters, screening responses, and DISC+ results in this view.
Unsave a candidate
hover over the Save icon or open the candidate profile
click Unsave candidate
The candidate will remain in your All candidates view.
Common Questions
What happens if a candidate applies multiple times?
Wizehire uses the most recent information tied to their email, including updated contact details.
Can I leave comments on a candidate?
Yes. You can add comments when saving a candidate for future reference.
Are comments the same as Notes?
No. Comments saved here are separate from Notes in the hiring workflow.
Can I see resumes and screening results in the Talent Pool?
Not currently. These may be included in future updates.
