Overview
Quickstart users can pause their Wizehire subscription directly in Settings. Essentials, Growth, and Concierge plans require assistance from your SRM.
Pausing is helpful if you are not actively hiring but want to retain access to your account and data.
Who can pause their subscription
Quickstart (month-to-month): can pause directly in the platform
Essentials, Growth, Concierge: must contact your SRM for assistance
How to pause (Quickstart only)
click your company name in the top right
select Settings
click into the Account tab
select Pause Plan
complete the prompts
Your subscription will be paused at the end of your current billing cycle.
Reactivation limits (Quickstart)
Quickstart accounts can:
pause and reactivate up to 2 times while staying on the same plan
require a plan change after the third reactivation
What happens when your account is paused
You can still:
log in to your account
view applicants and past candidates
access closed job posts
You can reactivate your account anytime when you're ready to hire again.
Alternative to pausing
If you manage multiple companies, you can:
enable or disable additional accounts
continue hiring in one account without pausing your main account
Common Questions
Can I pause my account on any plan?
No. Only Quickstart plans support self-service pausing.
When does the pause take effect?
At the end of your current billing cycle.
Will I lose my data if I pause?
No. Your applicants and job data remain accessible.
How do I reactivate my account?
You can reactivate directly from your dashboard when you're ready to hire again.
