Overview
You can organize applicants in Wizehire using four main tools: hiring stages, drag-and-drop, filters, and tags.
These tools help you quickly sort candidates, stay organized, and focus on the right applicants at each stage of your hiring process.
3 ways to organize applicants
Use hiring stages
Hiring stages help you track where each candidate is in your process.
click and drag candidates from Applied → Interview → Hired
customize stages to match your workflow
keep your pipeline structured and easy to manage
This is the fastest way to update a candidate’s status and stay organized.
Filter applicants
Use filters on the left side of your dashboard to narrow down candidates by:
experience
education
licenses
Personality Fit (DISC+)
and more
💡 Helpful note: Filters help you quickly surface the most relevant candidates without manually reviewing every application.
Use tags to group candidates
Wizehire automatically tags candidates based on screening question responses.
You can also create your own tags to stay organized.
To create and apply a tag:
select one or more candidates
click Tag at the top of the screen
choose an existing tag or click Create tag
name your tag and click Create
Once applied, you can:
filter candidates by tag from the left sidebar
deselect the tag to return to your full candidate list
When to use each tool
Hiring stages: track progress through your hiring process
Drag and drop: quickly update candidate status
Filters: narrow down large applicant pools
Tags: group candidates by custom criteria
Using these together helps you stay organized and make faster decisions.
