Overview

You can’t force candidates to complete the DISC assessment or screening questions. Applicants choose whether to finish those steps, but Wizehire gives you tools to encourage completion and follow up with automated and manual reminders.

💡 Tip: A short line in your job ad (e.g., “Please complete the DISC and screening questions”) sets clear expectations up front.

How Wizehire helps drive completion

  • Automated reminders
Candidates who start but don’t finish get email reminders to complete their application steps.

  • Mobile-friendly flow
The DISC and screening experience works smoothly on phones, which increases completion rates.

  • Coach support (Essentials, Growth & Concierge)
A coach can help you fine-tune job details and messaging to nudge higher completion.

How to send a “Please complete your application” reminder

  1. Open your job’s Applicants list.

  2. (Optional) Use filters to focus on people missing DISC+ scores.

  3. Select the applicant(s) you want to nudge (use the top checkbox to select all in view if you want to send a bulk message).

  4. Click the Email icon under the job title.

  5. Choose Apply Template and select your “Complete Your Application” template.

  6. Click Send Message — your reminder goes out to everyone you selected.

💡 Tip: Keep the reminder short, friendly, and specific (e.g., “Hi Sam — please finish the DISC+ and a couple of quick screening questions to move forward.”).

Common Questions

Can I block submissions until DISC+ is complete?
No. Applicants control whether they complete DISC; you can follow up with reminders.

Can I make screening questions required?
You can ask screening questions, but candidates can still submit without answering all of them. Use reminders and filters to manage follow-ups.

Will candidates know if they haven’t finished?
Yes — reminders help, and your manual follow-ups make expectations clear.

What if someone never completes these steps?
You can proceed without them, follow up again, or move them out of consideration based on your internal hiring policy.
