You’re busy, and sorting through every applicant can take time. That’s why Scout identifies candidates who stand out—based on their personality traits and screening question responses—and places them in a Recommended column at the front of your hiring pipeline.
This allows you to focus your attention where it matters most—on top talent.
Where will I see these candidates?
The Recommended column will appear to the left of the Applied column on your job dashboard when we’ve identified strong matches.
These candidates are listed in the order they applied. You can move candidates out of the Recommended column—but not into it. Scout manages the logic behind the scenes to ensure you only see the best fits here.
Do I need screening questions to see this?
Yes. At least one screening question is required for the Recommended column to appear. The candidate must meet your set requirements with a positive response.
Examples:
The candidate has required years of experience
The candidate holds a necessary license or degree
If your job ad doesn’t include any screening questions, you can add them at any time.
Why don’t I see the Recommended column?
The column might not show up for every job. Click here to learn more.
You also won’t see it if:
There are no applicable candidates yet
Your job ad is missing competencies or screening filters
Will I get notified?
Yes! When your first Recommended Candidate applies to a job you own, you’ll receive a push notification through the Wizehire mobile app.
Can I turn this off?
Not at this time. The Recommended column is a built-in part of the Wizehire Scout experience and cannot be disabled.
