Overview
Wizehire Scout is your AI-powered hiring assistant. Scout recommendations help you understand what to do next so you can keep jobs moving and stay responsive to candidates.
You may see recommendations in two places:
Recommendation type | Where it appears | What it helps with |
Recommended Actions | At the top of your main Dashboard | Highlights important hiring tasks across your account, like reviewing candidates, responding to messages, or refreshing jobs |
Scout Suggestions | When you hover over a candidate card on the Job Dashboard | Recommends the best next step for a specific candidate, like reviewing, qualifying, interviewing, or disqualifying |
Before Scout recommendations, Wizehire didn’t always point out what to do next, which made it easier to miss valuable candidates or important tasks. Now, Scout helps guide your next steps directly inside your hiring workflow.
Who can use this
All Wizehire clients, regardless of plan, have access to Scout recommendations.

Types of Scout Suggestions
Scout Suggestion | When it appears | What happens when you click it |
Reply to Message | When a candidate has an unread message. This takes priority over other Scout Suggestions. | Opens the candidate message so you can reply. |
Review Candidate | When a candidate is a Great, Good, or Unknown fit, is in the Applied stage, and has not been reviewed yet. | Opens the Candidate Profile. |
Move to Qualified | When a candidate is a Great or Good fit, is in the Applied stage, and has already been reviewed. | Moves the candidate to the Qualified stage. |

Common Questions
What is the difference between Recommended Actions and Scout Suggestions?
Recommended Actions appear at the top of your main Dashboard and highlight important tasks across your account. Scout Suggestions appear when you hover over a candidate card on the Job Dashboard and recommend the best next step for that specific candidate.
What happens if I ignore a recommendation?
The recommendation stays visible until the action is completed.
Can I dismiss a recommendation manually?
No. Recommendations clear once the related task is done.
Why don’t I see recommendations for all jobs?
Check your filters and confirm the job meets the requirements for a recommendation. Some recommendations only appear when there is eligible candidate activity, unread messages, job activity, or account setup information available.
Why am I seeing Reply to Message instead of another Scout Suggestion?
Reply to Message takes priority over other Scout Suggestions. If a candidate has an unread message, Scout will suggest replying first so you can keep the conversation moving.
When does Invite to Interview stop showing?
Invite to Interview will continue to show until the candidate schedules the interview or is moved into the Interviewing stage.
