Overview

There are a few ways to move a candidate from one hiring stage to another, depending on whether you're working from a single candidate or moving several at once.

From the Candidate Card hover state

Hovering over a candidate who is a Great or Good fit on the Job Dashboard surfaces a suggested next action, letting you move them along without opening their full profile.

From the Candidate Profile

  • Click the Move to XXX button on the right of the Candidate Profile.

  • The suggested stage is based on the candidate's current stage — for example, a candidate in Applied/Recommended is suggested to move to Qualified, then Pending, Interviewing, and finally Hired.

  • If the Job Dashboard has custom hiring stages, those are suggested too.

From the Job Dashboard - Move in bulk or by individual candidate

  • Select the candidate's checkbox in the upper right corner of their candidate card (works for one or multiple candidates).

    • Individual candidate cards can also be dragged into a new column.

  • Click Disqualify to disqualify the selected candidate(s), or click Move to choose a stage.

  • The Move options reflect the stages set up on that job post — for example, Applied, Qualified, Interviewing, Future Fit, Phone Screen, Hired, and Disqualified.

Example: keep a candidate in Applied when they first apply, move them to Interviewing once they've scheduled an interview, and then to Hired once they've accepted the offer.
