Overview

Scout now shows you the best next step for every candidate, right from your Job Dashboard. Hover over any candidate card to see a Scout Suggestion, a quick recommendation for what to do next, along with new badges that flag top talent and application status at a glance.

Scout Suggestions

Similar to Next Best Actions on your Main Dashboard, Scout Suggestions appear when you hover over a candidate card on the Job Dashboard. They tell you exactly what to do next for each candidate, so nothing falls through the cracks.

šŸ’” Scout Suggestions stay on a candidate card until you take the action that resolves them. They do not disappear automatically after a set amount of time.

Move to Qualified

  • Appears for candidates who are a Great Fit or Good Fit, are in the Applied stage, and have already been reviewed

  • Clicking Move to Qualified moves the candidate to your Qualified stage

  • Once completed, this suggestion is replaced by Invite to Interview

šŸ’” If your Qualified column has been renamed or removed, this suggestion won't appear.

Common Questions

Will a Scout Suggestion disappear if I don't act on it?

No. It stays on the candidate card until you take the action that resolves it. It won't expire or disappear on its own.

What happens to Scout Suggestions if I edit my pipeline columns?

If you rename or remove your Qualified column, the Move to Qualified suggestion will no longer appear for candidates in that stage.

Can a candidate get more than one badge at a time?

Yes. A candidate card can show multiple badges at once, for example Scout Suggested and Apply Started together.

Does a badge or suggestion move a candidate's fit score?

No. Badges and suggestions reflect a candidate's existing fit score and hiring stage, they don't change how that score is calculated.
